His blues resume in San Diego includes several years playing with Fuzzy and the Bluesmen in the 2000’s, and a decade later with the popular 145th Street Band, led by Steve Bulgur on harp.He also plays on occasion with Latin ensembles on occasion at Cafe Sevilla, including Malamana.
Jim plays blues piano only on days that the sun rises in the east.

A versatile south land pro for over 25 years, he has played all styles of music. Barry studied at the Dick Grove School of Music under Joe Porcaro. Barry has freelanced with various artists including Lamont Johnson, Graham Nash, Barbara Morrison and Burt Bacharach.

His credits include stints with Tony Ortega, Hollis Gentry III, Pee Wee Ellis, Jim Gibson, Robin Henkel, and many more. He currently plays with 3 Many and can be heard around the SD music scene.
